Description
A 1st pressing of Lodger from 1979 on UK RCA. Matrix A1/B2. Stamped 'STERLING'. Etching 'No Sense Is Better than...No Sense At All'. The LP comes housed in an original laminated wide spine gatefold. Also included is the lyric inner and the original white RCA inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% original.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out some ultra light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. The intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity and very little interference. All we could detect was a touch of light static in a couple of isolated moments. Really a very nice rendition indeed.
Cover (Ex+) Again, the owner of this LP must have been one fastidious individual. This cover pretty much looks like it was made yesterday. It is in great condition. No edge wear, no creases, or marking. The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover has perfect rigidity. Almost faultless....
Lyric Sheet (Ex-) In great condition. One tiny rip and a couple of creases.
Inner Sleeve (Vg+) Light ageing and one rip to the bottom which has been taped up.
