Elvis Presley was an American singer, musician, and actor. He is referred to as "The King of Rock and Roll". His career began in 1954 at Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee. He had a rockabilly style with a fusion of country music and rhythm and blues. Elvis became commercially successful in many genres, including movies, pop, blues, and gospel. He is a supreme figure with no comparisons. Elvis Presley is one of the most recognized and famous people in the world! Here are two 12" compilation LP's from the Exclusive Picturediscs Series, imported from Denmark. Elvis Presley recorded the song "Hound Dog" in 1956. It ranked #19 on Rolling Stone Magazine's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. The flip side of the single was "Don't Be Cruel". This release was Elvis telling the world, like it or not, rock and roll is here to stay. "Teddy Bear" was recorded in 1957 for the soundtrack of his second motion picture "Loving You".
