This is an acetate copy of the Mariah Carey song Breakdown featuring Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. The Mo Thugs Remix.
I bought it from a hip-hop collector a couple years ago in Long Island, New York. He had friends in the industry that would give him gems like this.
You cannot find this song on wax. Only CD single, cassette and VHS tape, and the CD singles are well sought after.
This is a very rare item. This acetate looks unplayed. It’s just a little bit dusty because it’s most likely been in the sleeve for 27 years. There is no record of this existing. My guess is that Columbia was going to press this single on vinyl, but then never did.
