ELVIS PRESLEY Blue Moon/Just Because 45 7" German RCA 47-6640 ARMY RARE 1956 Original German 45rpm Army Pressing
CONDITION OF THE VINYL: I just listened to both tracks and they sound fine to me with no issues other than standard background static due to scuffing marks on both sides but totally normal. No skips, loud pops, or storage warp just some raised bump areas in dead wax but didn't affect play. Good luck finding a copy that doesn't have scuffing/scratch marks so it's to be expected really for it's age.  "Blue Moon" has more noticeable static since the song is quite but nothing to distracting and just sounds like a fireplace off in the distance. "Just Because" is a more upbeat rockabilly style song and any static is drowned out by the music for the most part. This bad boy rarely goes up for sale in any condition don't miss out on this one. I'll have tons more rare 45's to list this week so stay tuned. Also comes with original RCA Victor company sleeve. (see pics)
Very hard to find and sought after German pressing of this 45 which was manufactured to be sold at United States Army bases in Europe. Although the record label reads “Made in USA”, there is a stamp in the dead wax that reads “Manufactured in Germany”.
