Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1957 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY in Loving You (vol 2) released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA 2 - 1515 dog on top)is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition with a few visible marks/scratches but nothing too deep or drastic.
THIS IS THE RARER ISSUE WITH HORIZONTAL LINE!
The centre labels have NO WRITING.(see photos).
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $35 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+)for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 56 years old and is in reasonable condition for the age.
There are NO SPLITS,RIPS, TEARS or WRITING(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is ringwear/discolouration/scuff marks and a water stain some stamped numbers on the front (see photos)
This is a really affordable copy until that MINT £80+ copy comes along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $65-60(£42 approx) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £45.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
