Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1957 release of Teddy Bear / Loving You released in the USA.
The record itself (47-7000 )is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition.
There are a few marks /scratches( nothing too deep or drastic though).
In addition to this , this is the RARE release WITHOUT the horizontal line but does have the parentheses (Let me be your).
The labels are quite bright , however some hard to see letters written blending into the background on both sides(see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $80 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT- ) for the sleeve alone!!!
This was Elvis FIRST FULL COLOUR PICTURE SLEEVE and has 2 GREAT DIFFERENT PHOTO'S .
This sleeve is 56 years old and is probably one of the best conditioned sleeves of this release i have sold on ebay in the last 11 years!!!!
There are NO SPLITS, RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!!!!(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some light edge browning , light ringwear and creases to the top opener (see photos)
That said This Really is a nice original !!
The record is now stored in a paper sleeve and the picture cover in a poly sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this great RARITY.
Overall this was still valued at about $100(£66) back in 2008 , so i would guess this would have to be at least £70.
I will start this at under a HALF of that!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
