Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1957 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY in Loving You (vol 1) released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA 1 - 1515 dog on top)is in EXCELLENT- condition with a few visible marks/scratches . (nothing deep or drastic though)
This retains a lot of it's natural sheen!
THIS IS THE RARE ISSUE WITH HORIZONTAL LINE!
The centre labels are CRISP, CLEAN and have NO WRITING (see photos).
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $50 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT-)for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 56 years old and is in nice condition for the age.
There ar NO SPLITS, RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some light ringwear/scuff marks and a small crease in the top left corner(see photos)
For some strange reason vol 1 is always harder and more expensive to find and does not come up for auction too often!!
This is a really affordable copy until that MINT £80+ copy comes along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $75(£50 approx) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £52.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
