Description

This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1972 release of An American Trilogy / The First Time Ever I saw Your Face released in the USA.

The record itself (74-0672)is in EXCELLENT- condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.(see photos) 

 There are a few light marks/scratches. (nothing too deep or drastic)

The labels are CRISP,CLEAN and have NO WRITING(see photos)

The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $60 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is  VERY GOOD+ )for the sleeve alone!!!

This sleeve is over 40 years old and shows a few signs of ageing. 

There are NO SPLITS,RIPS,TEARS or WRITING!(see photos)

The main thing that stops this from grading even higher is some creases/ringwear and scuff marks.(see photos)

This sleeve falsely advertizes  From Elvis " Standing Room Only " Album !

This album NEVER came out as an official release ( Elvis as recorded at Madison Square Garden came out instead)

This sleeve does not come up for auction very often!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $90(£58 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £60.

THIS WOULD BE A GREAT AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT (£65+) MINT RECORD AND SLEEVE

With a starting price at under half that you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
