Rare Elvis Presley "Blue Suede Shoes" EP TEMPORARY SLEEVE no record - just the sleeve.
Elvis Presley was in high demand and RCA wanted to capitalize in on this sensation. RCA released EPA-747 as Elvis' first Extended Play record. The preview paper sleeve was used in the earliest releases of EPA-747 until the standard cardboard EP covers became available. from Megocollectors website
Was very pleased to acquire this gem in a buy - and am pleased to offer it to a good home! It is the original NOT the repro!
Going to call this sleeve vg+ -- no splits bottom or side -- includes flap with unused glue strip -- small tear on fold top right extents to right over the last, and a very small tear on the fold on the left side. A price is written in pencil on the upper right side. On the back, there are two small pen scribbles. The words "his masters voice" can be seen backwards at bottom near the glued flap. Not perfect, but quite nice!
