KING CRIMSON - LARK'S TONGUES IN ASPIC. Great VINYL LP that is still SEALED in its orignal shrink wrap.  Island label UK issue vinyl LP 1973  ILPS 9230.  PLEASE NOTE - this LP remains un-opened, it is from the time and I would say that it would probably be the Island pink-rimmed label with the insert, although I cannot say for certain as it remains sealed, obviously I am leaving the pleasure of opening it to hopefully the new owner, so until then the LP remains sealed. **CONDITION**

**When grading my items I follow Record Collector magazine's grading guide.** Therefore the picture sleeve/the LP comes in its original UN-OPENED shrink wrap, the shrink wrap has come away in some areas, but it still seals the album tightly inside,  so the sleeve = excellent.  I would guess that as the LP has not been opened, the LP and labels are in at least excellent condition.

**    CONDITION GRADES    **                                                                                                   MINT = I NEVER REALLY USE THIS GRADE,  BUT IF I DID IT WOULD MEAN THAT THE ITEM IS IN A FACTORY FRESH/NEVER PLAYED CONDITION.                                                 EXCELLENT = RECORD SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF HAVING BEEN PLAYED, BUT THERE IS VERY LITTLE LESSENING IN SOUND QUALITY.  THE COVER AND PACKAGING MIGHT HAVE SOME SLIGHT WEAR AND/OR CREASING.                                                         VERY GOOD = THE RECORD HAS OBVIOUSLY BEEN PLAYED MANY TIMES, BUT DISPLAYS NO MAJOR DETERIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY, DESPITE NOTICABLE SURFACE MARKS AND THE OCCASIONAL LIGHT SCRATCH.  NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR ON THE COVER AND EXTRA ITEMS, WITHOUT ANY MAJOR DEFECTS.           THE GRADES MIGHT BE TWEAKED BY  +  AND  -  's.**

I WILL USUALLY TRY TO TEST/PLAY THE RECORD ON A VARIETY  OF DECKS/SYSTEMS ; TECHNICS SL1200, GEMINI 600II, NUMARK PT01 AND ION USB.

I take great care when packaging and sending my items. My items are sent in new protective plastic sleeves, within a larger, thick cardboard package, stamped 'RECORDS please do not bend' ( where appropriate the record is taken out of its picture sleeve and placed into a plain sleeve, to avoid cover damage in transit ).

IMPORTANT  A 'proof of posting' certificate and receipt is obtained for all items sent.  In the very rare case of an item going missing, a claim can be submitted to the Royal Mail, but this will only cover the first £28 of the items value and is obviously subject to the Royal Mails investigation into the loss.  For valueable items there is an insured/signed for option, please ask for details/quotes.
