Check out the six photos to see this Beautiful, Mint, Never played, Tri-fold cover, early Japanese-Pressed (looks like the late seventies to me), MFSL Limited Edition #0185 ELTON JOHN Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Double-LP; (MFSL 2-160); Half-Speed production & mastering from the original stereo master tape by Original Masteringworks, Specially plated & pressed on high definition Super Vinyl by Victor Company of Japan, plus nice static-free/dust free inner sleeves, and special heavy duty protective packaging. Featuring my favorite sequence of songs of all time: Side One's "Funeral For a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding" > "Candle In the Wind" > "Bennie and the Jets", with many other standouts like "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting", "All the Young Girls Love Alice", "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road", "Grey Seal" and others... >> NEVER BEEN PLAYED. I've surfed eBay for two years looking for the best sealed vintage LPs and this is one of the best. I bought it several months ago and removed its factory wrap to inspect (and take a few photos) because I originally had plans to keep it as part of my listening library but I haven't owned a turntable in a few years & it will probably be a while before I buy a new one, IF I buy one at all. I'm in the process of selling my cherry-picked collection so my loss is your gain. The nice vinyls are in factory-fresh condition (just as you would expect) with NO flaws anywhere. Beautiful cover looks brand-new in near mint shape; NO cutouts, punch holes, writing, seam-splits, nor promo stamps; small corner bump at top right (more visible from the rear); spine print is nearly centered >> NO BARCODE; Even the delicate inner paper sleeves have a brand-new freshness that I rarely see even on LPs from as recent as the '90s. It even has that hard-to-describe late 70s printing smell that I remember brand-new albums used to have. Super Nice! The yellow brick road theme made me think of Dorothy when she gets to the end of it and casts her eyes on the glowing Emerald City.
IMPORTANT: Buyer pays for shipping. Although $4 Media Mail is available, I prefer to ship via $8.80 USPS PRIORITY MAIL (especially for rare specimens like this) because it's more reliable, safer, faster, & they don't toss it in with all of the giant elephant crates in the system. If you choose, we can mail it for the $4 Media Mail but it makes me a little nervous. You can choose & let me know & then I'll send you the invoice. I can also ship outside the continental U.S. but that usually gets a little expensive so keep that in mind.
