HERE WE HAVE A SUPERB, VERY SCARCE, UK APPLE (SAPCOR 22) FIRST PRESSING (November 3rd, 1972) OF ELEPHANTS MEMORY'S SELF TITLED THIRD LP PRODUCED BY JOHN LENNON & YOKO ONO WHO ALSO CONTRIBUTE MUSICALLY TO SOME OF THE TRACKS

LABELS: The labels are CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO wear, NO writing and NO evident spindle traces. THE SPINDLE HOLE STILL RETAINS SOME PLASTIC RESIDE INDICATING THAT THE LP HAS RARELY BEEN ON A TURNTABLE
VINYL Visual: The vinyl retains its DEEP, LIKE-NEW, GLOSSY SHEEN and the surfaces are practically UNMARKED. BEAUTIFUL LP
VINYL Audio: EXTREMELY STRONG, DEEP, RICH RECORDING with CRYSTAL CLEAR, VERY SHARP AUDIO. Tremendous LOUD CUT on this first pressing. There are NO jumps, NO sticks, NO scratches NO clicks/pops and barely any surface noise (some light crackle between some (not all) of the tracks - overall very minor). The LP plays BEAUTIFULLY THROUGHOUT to an impressively high standard and must be graded EXCELLENT+ for audio. NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use strict RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards (please refer to my feedback and 'about me' page). BEAUTIFUL COPY OF A SCARCE LP. More commonly found as a US press, this UK pressing is very scarce, especially with its extras
SLEEVE: The sleeve is in EXCELLENT++ condition. CLEAN, BRIGHT and FRESH with hardly any wear to the edges or spine, where all text is CLEAR and BOLD and beautiful CLEAN, UNRUBBED surfaces. SUPERB example of a sleeve commonly found with excessive ring wear
INNER SLEEVE: The inner is printed on textured soft paper with a 9" notch on the opening edge with credits and lyrics on one side and band photos on the other. It is CLEAN, FRESH and UNMARKED but there is a small spilt (less than 1") to the bottom edge. The LP is now housed - and will be posted in - a new inner to prevent any more 'knifing' damage to the original during transit
'FRESH FROM APPLE' LEAFLET: The small 6" x 7" gatefold leaflet has an internally printed band biography with the LP details on the reverse (including the release date "RELEASED 3rd NOVEMBER 1972") (see close up photographs below). The leaflet is pretty clean with two light fold marks and a small tear to the top of its spine but overall, it still looks very nice. VERY GOOD
PUBLICITY PHOTO: The band publicity photo has several heavy creases (please see photographs) and is a little grubby around the edges but this is an incredibly rare item and is nice to find in any condition. VERY GOOD (-)
