ELEPHANT'S MEMORY (Apple Records test pressing)

• Condition : Cover is VG++ to EX, slight wear, this is a plain thick white jacket with band name & date (8/72) written vertically in red pen down right front edge at pocket opening. Vinyl is VG, has a fair amount of scuffs and light hairlines, much of it plays NM however there is one notable scratch which tics _lightly_ from end of "Liberation Special" thru "Baddest Of The Mean". This scratch looks worse than it sounds. Generic Apple white test press labels with the usual disclaimer; somebody noted '2' on side two label, otherwise the labels are identical.
• Description : Very rare 1972 test pressing of the third (or fourth, if you count the "Midnight Cowboy" repckage of their debut as a separate album) Elephant's Memory LP, in plain cover. This is sort of a secret John Lennon album, he co-produced the LP with Yoko, and he is all over the LP, playing guitar, electric piano, and providing backing vocals in places. Best of all, this test press includes a big poster (EX, some creases, quarterfolded, see pic), a promo bio insert (see pic, this is the outside folded flat, the inside has a small pic of the regular album jacket and a band biography), and lastly there is a photocopy of the credits from the inside gatefold of the regular LP cover, this has the tracks numbered in ballpoint pen.

• Buyer pays $7 for priority / delivery conf. shipment OR $3.75 for media mail / delivery conf. shipment in USA; foreign billed at approximate cost (see rates below). Combine multiple wins to save on shipping. PA residents must add 6% sales tax. NOTE: shipping to Mexico is the same cost as to Canada, and shipping to South America is the same cost as to Europe, generally. Ebay's lsting format does not let me break out South America separately from Mexico and Canada for shipping costs so it appears as though I don't ship there, but I do. I ship WORLDWIDE.
• GUARANTEE: Condition of this item is guraranteed to be as stated in the above description. Grading is strict and visual. All used LP's are cleaned on a Loricraft machine before grading. Sorry, I do not guarantee "musical content". If you are going to bid high on an unfamiliar album, consider first checking out the sounds online or via a reissue, etc in order to avoid potential disappointments. You cannot return a record simply because you don't like the music.
• Records are shipped in a cardboard record mailer with sufficient padding, and the disc is removed from the jacket to prevent seamsplits.
• I do not end auctions early. No offense, but if you ask, you will not receive a reply, sorry.
• Please do not ask me to email you with a list of every song on an LP. If you are looking for a specific song, inquire with the name of the song, I'll check ASAP to see if it's on the LP and reply promptly, but I don't have time to type out the names of every track, sorry to say. Also, sorry but requests from underbidders along the lines of "I didn't win, could you A) dub the record to CD for me B) ask the high bidder to dub the record to CD for me or C) give me the winner's email so I can ask" are ignored due to legal and privacy concerns.

• ALL US shipments are sent with delivery confirmation included in the shipping cost. I will insure any package sent within the USA worth over $100 for no extra cost. OVERSEAS: the cheaper shipping option on your invoice (First Class Mail International) does not include insurance or tracking. With FCMI service, Registered Mail (includes tracking number and requires your signature upon delivery) is available for $10.80 extra per parcel; if you want Registered Mail added to your FCMI parcel, ask. The higher price option on your invoice (Priority Mail International) includes a tracking number and, to most countries, around $80 in insurance coverage, as part of the shipping cost. However, Registered Mail service is not available with Priority Mail International service.
