Elephant's Memory - 'Elephant's Memory'. SAPCOR 22

Elephant's Memory 1972 UK 1st FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO / PROMO pressing of the 'Elephant's Memory' LP. Released on the 3rd November 1972, and offered here fully complete in EXCELLENT+ condition with an incredibly rare selection of promotional Apple items.

These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.

Released on the Apple Records label with a factory sample sticker to the side one label. Housed within the original gatefold sleeve and lyric inner sleeve.

This also comes complete with some very rare Apple promotional items. An original ‘Fresh From Apple’ promo insert, 2X unused ‘A is for Apple Records’ stickers (unused) and a Elephants Memory Apple Records glossy promo photograph. In all my time collecting I have never seen a package with all these extras included. It was probably originally sent to the music press for review. A very rare package.

The matrix numbers are:

Side 1: SAPCORE 22 A-1U 1 A

Side 2: SAPCORE 22 B-1U 1 G

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition.

Both labels are in MINT- condition.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD++ condition.

The inner sleeve is in MINT- condition. I will also include an additional inner sleeve to protect the original.

The Apple promo items are in EXCELLENT+ condition.

This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £4.55. EU recorded postage is: £12.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £18.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
