Yowza, here's a rare one: 1st press of this psychedelic garage-rock classic new, in the original, unbroken factory wraps. This is the album they called "Good Friday" in Europe. I just scored this from a former 1960s record store owner, who had kept this in storage in his basement for 45+ years. I bought ~50 of his late-60s new old-stock/still-in-shrink vinyl records, mostly funk and world-beat, completely cleaning me out in the process. I'm selling this gem so I can eat something besides vintage wax.
NEW / NEVER OPENED! What an amazing crisp and bright copy - no bends, dents, creases, edge chips, breaks, splits to sleeve. Cover is bright, unfaded, and unstressed. No splits, dents, drills, promo cuts/notches. Back cover white background is bright - the photo image only makes it look dark. No soiling or wear where wrap pulled. Very mild top corners chip/color loss where shrink chipped (see pix). Very slight paste-up curl/lift to back cover left top corner.
Shrink is clean, and unyellowed, but feels slightly brittle. The top right corner has a shrink tear where a wrap sticker was originally removed (probably by the distributor) and has the original retail sticker in that gap placed directly on the sleeve. There is a super-slight matte ring scuff to both sides. There is a slight shrink split at sleeve opening: top where shrink removed, bottom 1". Top left and right corner has shrink split ending with a back with a left corner piece missing and right a closable back flap and shrink edge discoloration (see pics). Shrink has usual factory "H" wrap & breather holes, price sticker to right top - absolutely no evidence of this ever having been opened or being a re-wrap.
