30 Doug Sahm records recorded under many different names. That makes this little lot work out at just £2 per disc. I'm also throwing in 3 Augie Meyers singles as freebees.
I also have 2 other much rarer Doug Sahm discs up for auction on the Bop-Tex & Pic 1 labels
Lets start with a very rare mix of "At The Crossroads". As a 45, it was never actually issued. DJ copies only were only pressed. It was included in disc 5 with the same catalogue number S-2253, "The Mono Singles" disc of the HIP-O select 5 CD set however, that version runs at 3:33. This special DJ version is yet another mix running at 3:12 so getting this 45 is the only way you will hear this mix. Dynamite Woman likewise has a special DJ only mix running at 2:45 against the stock copy version which runs at 3:41 - Again, the HIP-O select mono singles CD has chosen the stock copy version so getting this 45 is the only way you will hear this mix The 2 ABC Dot label tracks were also mixed down to a radio friendly time so are different to the album versions..
