Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. Coming out of San Antonio, Texas, despite their British sounding name, they are perhaps best known for their 1968 hit single "She's About A Mover". This song features a Tex-Mex sound with a pulsating organ riff provided by Augie Meyers and soulful vocals from lead singer and guitarist Doug Sahm. The band soon joined the late-'60s explorations of expanded rock-music potentials. In addition to "She's About a Mover," the band is known for its songs "Mendocino," "Dynamite Woman" and "Can You Dig My Vibrations?" The Sir Douglas Quintet is considered a pioneering influence in the history of rock and roll for incorporating Tex-Mex and Cajun styles into rock music. fueling the same inspired energy, the Quintet of Sir Douglas rock it with "1+1+1 = 3" ...a hard to find album that has gotten pricey no matter what collector circle you find it in...and for good reason:

CONDITION: The Cover: thick textured specially designed gatefold cover is VG++ the white cover is still very white and that's saying alot when white covers soil so easily 40+ years onward. Ther is only a little light stain at bottom right corner (very light and minor) and a small delete drill at top right ...otherwise very stiff, solid and colorful from 42 years ago ... No bends, no split seams and no writing.
The Vinyl: is all glossy on both sides, near "EX" (excellent) has some very minor hard to see little wispy hair scuffs from inner paper sleeve... easily plays outstanding.
A cool addition to anyone's music library!
