Description
This is the original UK LP by DAVID BOWIE, LOW, 1977 Stereo 1st Press on the RCA label PL 12030
The album comes complete with its insert, stickered cover and Fan Club insert
Their are 2 sets of matrix numbers, typical of 1st Pressing, hand scribed.
Matrix numbers are, Side 1:- RS 1108 A-1 & PL 2030 A-1
Side 2:- RS 1108 B-2 & PL 2030 B-2
Additionally of both sides run-off dead wax area's is the word in 'STERLING' machine stamped, (very small)
The original 1977 UK 1st issue Garrod Print Ltd Stickered cover is in EX+++ condition. The spine is clean and perfectly readable. The beautiful cover maintains all it's original bright vibrant colour. Their are no seam splits, no unwanted writing. The cover has its original sticker, with tracking listing, stuck done straight, nice to see. the sticker is untouched MINT- condition. Top middle on the top seam is a small 8mm crack (not split), other than a tiny tiny amount of very light wear to the corners, this beautiful cover would be graded MINT-.
The vinyl is in MINT- condition !. The vinyl is gleams with all its original factory fresh shine and lustre!. The vinyl plays MINT-, playing with superb clarity, playing with superb depth and warmth.
The labels are in MINT- condition, beautifully clean and fresh, no unwanted writing, no scuffs, the centre spindle hole shows no wear.
The original 1977 UK RCA white inner sleeve is in EX+++ condition, both sides are clean, no seam splits, no unwanted writing. On the front, bottom left hand corner is:- 'MADE IN ENGLAND R.S 12-76', December 1976, this makes sense as the LP was on sale in January 1977, so at time of production (in December) this is the correct and original 1st issue UK RCA inner sleeve.
The original UK 1st issue 1977 LOW insert is in EX+++ condition, maintaining all its original colour, both sides are clean and crisp, only a small area of creasing, other wise it would be graded MINT-. Their are no seam splits, no rips, no unwanted writing.
The rare and often missing original 1977 UK 1st issue fan club insert is in EX+++, nice and clean, no rips, no seam splits, nice example.
