David Bowie David Bowie LP- 1969, Philips Australia # PDS 339 / 852146BY. This must be one of the rarer Bowie releases, both because he wasn't a big star in 1969, but also because Australia had a small population so very few copies could have been sold as the LP didn't make the charts. Unlike the UK version this is not in a gatefold sleeve and instead has a lyric sheet included. The back cover art is also different. The cover is in good condition but please note the scuffing on the back cover and the bottom corners. The vinyl has numerous small scratches but it does not skip - I played it again before listing to check. The labels (silver writing on blue) are clean. The lyric sheet has a corner missing, a small tear on the top, and has some fold marks. The white dust cover is split along one edge but will be included for the sake of completeness.
A big Bowie vinyl fan in the 80s, this is from my personal collection and is one of a number of vinyl items I'll be selling as I no longer have a decent turntable.
The LP will be posted in thick cardboard to protect the item, which does unfortunately make it expensive to post. Tracking and/or insurance can also be organised at extra cost if required. The package will be under 500g so for Australian customers, the LP can be posted with Australia Post for $8.50 with tracking. International postage, including signature on delivery, is between $25 and $35 depending on location - please ask for a quote. This item will also need to be insured, which is $9 for the first $100 and $2.50 per hundred after that, so $14.60 for $400, $17.10 for up to $500. Please wait for the invoice before paying.
