Description

Mega rare original New Zealand pressing TOM WAITS Swordfishtrombones LP ( Asylum 60211-1 ) issued in the original sleeve art and then withdrawn and replaced with the Island release. All copies of this release were recalled by the record company and were supposed to be destroyed. However, some copies made it to market in Auckland, and this is one of them. Cover is at least EX closer to M- with only a couple of microscopic repairable tears at opening. Little signs of handling or play - no tears, stamps, splits, marks, stickers or writing and the spine is clean and tight. Vinyl is solid M-  appears unplayed. Labels are clean and lyric inner sleeve is included. Please note Ebay's ridiculous automated system will not allow the correct delivery charge to be entered - please wait for an invoice.
