Description
This UK model will be the showpiece of any serious DAMNED collection. You are bidding on the legendary gig freebie 7" from summer 1977. Their famous giveaway 7“ was never a general release. The A-side track ‘Have You Got A Problem, You Are a Stretcher Case Baby’ is an amazing singalong stomper, topped with great guitar riffs, and a different take to the version that appeared on the band’s album which entitlted ‘Music For Pleasure’. Also ‘Sick Of Being Sick’, a real jewel, was covered by several punk bands because it is such a classic. It should also be noted that ‘Sick Of Being Sick’ was not from the band’s Shel Talmy produced session, but is actually an edit of their May 1977 John Peel session take. The single was issued by STIFF RECORDS, a rare find and an original first pressing, and is the last Stiff Records recording by the band as a four piece, as shortly after they recruited Robert 'Lu' Edmonds as second guitarist. Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
Payment / Bezahlung: via PayPal. All orders outside Germany which exceed a value of €15 or £12 or $16 will only be sent by registered mail.
