Daniele Patucchi - Men of the sea

Italian pressing, CAM SAG 9051 (1973)

Soundtrack of the 1973 Bruno Vailati documentary MEN OF THE SEA. Very rare record, here on a even rarer deluxe edition (maybe promo only) with cool cardboard booklet (see pic n.4) and funny gimmix sleeve with front hole showing the funky Orca\whale. Amazing compositions by Daniele Patucchi with beautiful lounge and bossa atmospheres plus some dark experimental mood music. Clip opens with the groovy Brazilian berimbau bossa PESCATORI DELLE ANTILLE, followed by the superb baroque harpsichord lounge VALERIE E LE OTARIE, the classic scat lounge UOMINI DEL MARE and the spooky underwater electronics of LO SQUALO BIANCO and 74 METRI COL CUORE IN GOLA. Beautiful item!
