the first, definitely the rarest and maybe the purest of all Ras Michael-albums...well sought after...was released in the UK on Trojan with a different sleeve (transferring the photo of Ras Michael from the original to a drawing)...great rootsful backings supplied by Lloyd Charmers, Lloyd Parks, Willie Lindo & Paul Williams...brass by the Federal Soul Givers...this gem was recorded at Federal Studios, Kingston, Jamaica...Lloyd Charmers production, engineered by George Raymond & Bob Davidson...comes as original first press...very very hard to be found in any condition, milestone in reggae music and absolutely essential for followers of JA spiritual music! I added rather long clips for all 4 tunes (these tune play about 10 minutes each) to give you an idea of music + sound quality...a mystikal experience in roots music...ENJOY!

WAX condition: vg+ / vg+, both sides show some general wear and surface marks/surface scratches, most of them NOT affecting the play, some crackle at the very start of side 1 for about 1 minute (listen to the sound-file supplied!) and some light occasional crackle here and there (NOT to bad, really!!!), plays great with top sound... 

LABEL condition: A-side near perfect / B-side near perfect - watch the scan, please!

SLEEVE condition: ex-, thick-as-a-brick cardboard-sleeve shows only light general wear, I never ever saw a better one!!!

Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often). Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being).

And that’s my Vinyl Grading Scale:

EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...)

VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...)

G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...)

P (= just a collection-filler for the hard-edged + hardest-boiled collectors + selectors + all the rudegals out there - P stands for "poor", yunno...)
