This Record Is the paramount race series 12817 by Charlie Spand an American blues and boogie-woogie pianist and singer. he Is known for his barrelhouse style. Spand was one of the most influential piano players of the 1920s and his total recordings comprise only thirty-three (33) tracks Of which twenty five songs were for Paramount Records. this record Is a rare find.

This item is part of an extensive collection and is offered for sale by the James Lyons Trust, Frank E. Bysfield Trustee. Jim was a serious record collector and spent years searching for them. In addition to the records he has a collection of nearly 3,000 books and publications, IAJRC Journal, Storyville Magazines, various memorabilia, show bills, concert programs, photos, and other ephemeras. Over 600 books with copyrights dated from 1867 – 1959.
