DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath - Paranoid. Complete, original 1st UK pressing with 1Y1/2Y1 matrix, large swirl label, matt gate fold sleeve with Big Bear credit and Vertigo swirl inner dated 04/70. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. All postage costs include insurance and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 011 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG. Vinyl is really clean with a nice dark sheen. Tilted to artificial light it has a few very light superficial hairlines on both sides that have no effect on playback. Visually very near to EX and miles better than VG.  If I used EX- as a grade this would be EX slightly minus.  One of the best looking and sounding copies of this I have had in recent years. Played in its entirety tonight on my budget deck, Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent and often much better than Excellent. It really sounds great. "Planet Caravan" plays really, really cleanly and clearly. "Hand Of Doom" also sounds pretty stunning, clean and clear.   I could not really detect any background sound, even between the tracks. "Big Bear" gate fold sleeve is in very nice shape . It is firm and square and has not much more than light edge wear, light to moderate corner wear and only light creasing.  Clean inside to gate fold apart from a name printed in biro  and a few small specks of print tear in same area (see final photo).  Fully legible spine retains nice shape- the spine is a lot better than it looks in the photo as i had to use a flash because of lack of daylight. Original swirl inner is in nice shape. Clean with no edge splits and only light wear. Poly is still fully attached.  Only 1 x 1cm tear around centre. Really clean Vertigo swirl labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Fantastic sounding and decent looking complete 1st UK pressing. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
