Awesome Art edition LP from one of the most talented female who belongs to the first generation of sound artists (mid-'70). On Air is a thoroughly impressive document from one of the most innovative sound installation artists of our time. Alternatively titled Magnetic Air, Christina Kubisch's installation (1982-86) involved variable, labyrinthine paths of magnetic induction wire, which broadcast her electroacoustic compositions via special earphones worn by the audience. Depending on the listeners' position within the exhibition space, they wouid hear a constantly evolving crosspollination of Kubisch's scores. I also truly recommand both of her works with Fabrizio Plessi ("Two & Two" on Multhipla and "Tempo Liquido" on Cramps). Very sought after, don't miss this rarity !!!
