Description

This is my original copy of The Beatles Please Please Me album, this issue followed the black and gold label and is rare because it has the same label layout as the stereo gold issue -

Including the extra 33 1/3 and no "recording first published" information and no date on the label. This pressing came on the new black and yellow parlophone label. The error was very quickly spotted and therefore fewer copies were pressed than either of the please please me gold stereo issues. Thus making this the rarest UK issue of a Beatles album!

It took me a long time to find one of these, and this copy is nice.

The vinyl is excellent condition with a couple of very light marks. It plays incredibly well with fabulous fidelity and great dynamics.

The cover is in very good condition, this is exactly the same variation of cover that the stereo gold issue was released with. The Angus McBean photo credit being low and far over to the right over the cover. These are rare to find and this one has no writing, stickers or tears. Just handling wear such as creasing and rounded corners from its 63 years of age. It's still solid and displays well - I've seen so many worse than this.

I've taken lots of pictures so you can see the condition of the vinyl and cover.

An amazing album and extremely rare to find.

Thanks for looking.
