Artist: The Beatles Title: Yesterday and Today Label/Number: Capitol T-2553 (M) Jacket condition: VG Record condition: No record Notes: This is a mono pasteover butcher cover. In its present condition it is in fairly rough condition but fortunately the butcher cover remains 95% covered and is still in great condition. Someone has started to peel the lower right corner but quit before doing any damage. There are no tears on the part that has been uncovered and the rest remains intact under the trunk cover. The pasteover cover has some writing which, of course, will not be a problem if the cover is peeled. The bottom seam is fully split and the spine is also split and taped with clear tape. The top seam is much better with just a 1" split at the opening. The back cover has some ring wear and a some some slight tears along the bottom seam where someone apparently had taped it and then removed the tape. In short, as it stands in its present condition it's not great, but if it is peeled it will look much, much better and the buyer will have a pretty nice butcher cover. Grading: I use Goldmine standards with a VG++ added for items NOT QUITE up to M-. I try to be conservative and grade as though I were buying the record. Mono (M) or Stereo (S) is noted after catalog number. Don't hesitate to e-mail questions.
Mailing and costs: Shipping is via USPS, media mail, and fully insured, unless otherwise requested. Standard fee on this one will be $7.00 including the cost of insurance and a new mailer and pads. Overseas costs will vary dependent upon the desires of the buyer but will be the actual shipping costs plus about $1.50 for the new mailer and pads.
