Description

Here is the fourth of several first-pressing american-issued Beatles albums still in the shrinkwrap...The Beatles "Yesterday And Today" stereo Capitol ST-2553 black label rainbow (without subsidiary print) issued 40-years ago in the latter part of June 1966.  The beautiful cover is drop-jaw gorgeous with the original shrinkwrap totally tight and complete corner to corner (with one 1/8" breathhole on front, and two 1/8" breathholes on the back vertically spaced exactly 4 11/16ths apart on the left-hand side).  It is Spizer-cataloged as CAP 2553.SC2 (this is not a butcher), and has the number 5 pressing plant number.  It also has the statement "This stereo record should be played only with a stereo cartridge and needle to avoid damage" at the top of the back cover (which true first pressing stereo covers would normally have).  The record is the equal to it's cover - if not better.  It appears to be unplayed, and is in true near mint condition.  It is Spizer-cataloged as CAP 2553.SR1B (west coast).  The labels are like new with ZERO spindlemarks.  Comes complete with the original orange Los Angeles inner sleeve.  U.S. buyer to pay $6.00 for double-boxed USPS priority shipping (media mail available at $3.00 upon request).  International buyer please inquire for shipping costs.  Insurance is at the discretion of the buyer.  Please email me with any questions.
