THE BEATLES - 'YELLOW SUBMARINE'
This flawless sounding UK 1st pressing dates from initial January 1969 release on the dark green Apple Records label: PCS 7070
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text, which was removed from all Apple/EMI labels in May 1969.
Matrices: YEX 715-1 & YEX 716-1
Stamper codes: 2,4/GO & 1/P
Vinyl weight: 145g
Housed in an early front laminated, tri-flipback (all blank) 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover with the red horizontal lines on the rear panel.
Complete with original matt-black, die-cut inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Labels: MINT -
An immaculate set bearing no more than a small handful of faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Disc Visual: MINT -
Pristine, factory-fresh playing surfaces which appear 'as new' in strong daylight with just a few of barely visible wispy paper marks from the unforgiving inner-sleeve and a sparkling rainbow shine directly beneath halogen light.
Disc Audio: MINT
A truly flawless and wonderful sounding disc which will shine on ever system. the delicate orchestral suite is free form any audible distractions of any is pure joy throughout.
Cover: EXCELLENT *
A truly fine example of this earliest of covers with a sparkling, unworn front panel bearing only a faint disc impressing but no 'thumbnails' or any other traces of wear. All corners and opening edges are in great shape with no heavy bumps or wear to any. The rear panel is clean and white and if it were not for a partially erased stamp on the rear panel, would be in * MINT- condition. Both seams and the fully worded spine are smooth & unstressed.
