IN VERY NICE COMPLETE CONDITION, MINT MINUS RECORD, MINT MINUS LABELS, EXCELLENT SLEEVE, COMPLETE WITH 2 STICKERS, 2 POSTERS, and an Original printed card record sleeve, just superb.
‘Venus and Mars’ was released by MPL/Capitol Records, in the UK in 1975, the album contains 13 tracks. This is the first solo "Beatle" Album NOT to feature the Apple label, and the first to feature Paul's "MPL" logo.
This Vinyl LP, is on the Custom Black with Silver print Capitol Label, with 'Made in Gt Britain', and MPL printed to both sides of the record labels.
Both Record labels are in SUPER PRESERVED Mint Minus condition, CLEAN NEW LOOKING labels, showing one or two very faint spider trails to either side.
The side 1 matrix YEX 945-3U, and Side 2 matrix YEX 946-1U.
Side 1 stampers: 2 AGL and Side 2 stampers:2 ART.
The dead wax area on the A-side has "A Porky Prime Cut", and on the B-side has "M Room".
Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in SUPERB Mint Minus condition. The Vinyl surfaces are GLISTENING –and look NEW.
Both sides of the LP play EXTREMELY WELL with NO skips or clicks, great tracks to hear again.
The album comes in its ORIGINAL Printed Card Venus and Mars Inner Sleeve , which is a SUPER IMPRESSIVE Mint Minus example, with creases or any damage.
…And is protected in its ORIGINAL award winning sleeve, being voted the "Album Cover of the Year" by the music industry trade magazine, "Music Week". It is a gatefold sleeve designed by Hipgnosis and George Hardie. The front cover picture of two snooker balls was taken by Linda, and the centre spread picture was taken by Aubrey Powell in the desert in North Carolina. The rear of the cover features the lyrics. Also free within are two posters and two "Venus and Mars" planet sticker.
The Gatefold sleeve is in, SUPERB Excellent condition, the bottom edge shows light rubbing, and there are signs of fading to the spine edge, the corners show light bumps, there is NO record indentation, otherwise a very nice example sleeve
Both folded Posters, and the two stickers are in Mint Minus condition.
A fantastic condition example of this **ORIGINAL** WINGS album, complete with all inserts, as original as it was when released back in 1975.
