Description

For sale is a true rarity for any Beatles collector - a 1st pressing of The Beatles "SOMETHING NEW" UK Export copy on the Parlophone label!  Although later pressings are still considered quite desirable and valuable, this particular early issue contained a misprint and several things to look for according to GOLDMINE to confirm it's a 1st Pressing:

  • “The Parlophone Co. Ltd” printed on label perimeter (versus "The Gramophone Co. Ltd” found on 2nd pressings.)
  • “Sold in the U.K…” erroneously printed on label, as it was not being sold in the U.K.
  • Tax code “K T” visible on label.

I am grading conservatively and pricing to sell due to minor wear on cover (NO tears, rips or spine damage).  Vinyl sounds and looks GREAT! No skips, scratches, crackles or popping!
