BEATLES SOMETHING NEW: UK EXPORT LP PARLOPHONE CPCS 101
Original 1965 Export LP. Catalogue number Parlophone CPCS 101- 1st pressing with yellow/black label and "Parlophone Co. Ltd." label text. Pressed matrix numbers: YEEX 7-B12 and YEEX 8-B12.
The disc is overall clean and shiny but there are several light scratches and surface marks. We have listened very carefully to the whole record. The only audible faults we could detect are: (Side 1) – very light ticks BEFORE track 1; BETWEEN tracks 1 & 2; BETWEEN tracks 2& 3. (Side 2) – very light ticks BETWEEN tracks 1 & 2; 2 & 3, 4 & 5. We stress that these are faint, not intrusive, ticks and that they do not affect the tracks themselves.
The Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. flip-back sleeve is intact but VERY scruffy with damaged/creased corners and edges, puckered and scratched laminate front, record impress and dirty marks on rear.
