The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
(Parlophone PMC 7027 UK LP 1967)
This is a UK original mono LP pressing. It is the very scarce "Fourth Proof" pressing. It has the text "Fourth Proof" & "AR D 13217" printed on the inner flipback, right-hand side. It has a fully laminated gatefold sleeve, which has inner flipbacks. It also comes with its original "The Fool" designed psychedelic inner sleeve.
The record has black & yellow Parlophone labels. Which have "The Gramophone Co..." & "Sold In The UK..." texts. The 1st press matrix stampers are XEX 637-1 & XEX 638-1. The mother stampers are: RTP 4 & RAM 2. There is no insert. A genuine UK original 1st pressing.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some mild to moderate rubbing wear to the spine, & a small tear to the front. Otherwise mild wear only. VG condition.
Vinyl: Mild to moderate sleeve rubs that can be seen under a strong light, and about three light hairline marks. Good++ condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild to moderate spindle wear. Plays very well indeed. There is some light crackle in the quietest places. The inner sleeve has a couple of tears & is in good++ condition. There are no seam splits.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £40. Overseas buyers will add £5.25 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
