Labels: EXCELLENT +
A superb set with very little sign of wear.
Visual: 1. EXCELLENT + 2. EXCELLENT
The surfaces of this fine copy appear at first glance to be 'as new' in strong daylight. Close inspection confirms that Side 1 is indeed pristine but side 2 bears a 2mm scratch on track 1 of side 2 & a few pin-head sized marks on the final track on side 2. Careful examination directly beneath my powerful & unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals a sparkling rainbow shine and a few insignificant wispy paper hairlines but no further significant blemishes.
Play: 1. EXCELLENT + 2.VERY GOOD +
This copy has received a few careful plays & my careful listenat volume found no trace of any groove/play wear on any track. I have downgraded side 2 due to approximately 12 repeating clicks on 'Within Without You' caused by the aforementioned scratch and a few individual clicks on 'A Day In The Life' & on its fade. However, apart from those minor faults, this is an extremely respectable sounding copy.
Cover
EXCELLENT
This rare example is in superb overall shape. The front panel is perfectly clean with an unscratched high-gloss laminate bearing just a single small 'thumbnail' near the opening edge. The only significant blemish is some minor damage to the upper left corner, but all others are sharp and square. All opening edges appear untouched and the rear panel is immaculate with no rubbing, indentations or 'thumbnails' here. The inside of the gatefold is pristine and 'as new' with no traces of wear to the flipbacks or indeed elsewhere. The spine is clean & fully worded and all seams are smooth with no stresses or splits to any of them. Tough to find one of these in better condition.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
A 1st-class clean & crisp example with just the unavoidable light disc impression but no yellowing, writing, splits or tears anywhere.
