Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean & bright pair showing just a small number of well-aimed spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean playing surfaces which retain all of their deep-gloss shine. Apart from a light turntable scuff & a single non-feelable hairline on side 2 both sides are unmarked in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals some harmless wispy paper hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal but nothing else of any significance. Both sides of this well looked after high-quality copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
Unlike the harsh sounding, over-compressed '-1' cutt or the over-tamed ' -4' revision, this '-5' cutting really hits the spot on every level with superbly balanced warmth and clarity which is unmatched on any other format. This cherished copy has received minimal careful play on quality equipment and apart from a touch of normal low-level vinyl background between tracks, plays flawlessly and will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & firm example with and richly coloured, unworn high-gloss front panel bearing just a handful of small 'thumbnails' wrinkles but little else in the way of wear. There are small bruises to the corners but opening edges appear untouched. The rear panel is pristine white and totally unblemished with fully intact flipbacks & smooth, unstressed seams.
There is a touch of wear to the lower edge of the spine but the wording is readable.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
