Beatles LP Please Please Me
Australian release Mono pressing Parlophone Black & Gold label. Often very hard in any reasonable condition
This is a 3rd Gold/Black release .
1st release is of course the UK covers with original Gold/Black pressing,there were 500 of them (hands up whose got one of those??!!). Label has "Made in Australia for the Parlophone CO.LTD Sydney NSW", at the bottom of the label.
2nd release is an Australian made mono serial numbered only cover with the same pressing labels as the Gold/Blacks that came with UK covers.
3rd release is the one up for auction,which has the Mono/Stereo serial numbers on back.And the 2nd different label listing "Made in Australia by EMI (AUST) Limited,across the middle.
Conditon Vinyl : VG+/VG Has light hairlines on side 1 whereas side 2 has a couple of marks which don't effect playback
Condition Flipback Cover: VG Edge wear. Small spilt starting at middle top & on main spine.I've seperated the record from the cover so this won't go any further. A 'sue B' has being written on the very top right.
Condition of label: clean both sides,spindle wear
