Original Mono 612 002 Release of 1967 offering by The Who with Stickered Sleeve, Psychedelic Poster and Patent Pending Sleeve.
OVERALL VG+
The sleeve (VG+) is really nice with a little aging ; a few light creases, light ring mark from the record. The spine is solid and all the edges are intact and have no undoing. The corners have a little fraying but overall are solid. This sleeve is the rarer Patent Pending sleeve that was issued before the design of the sleeve could be patented (protected from copy infringement). Ones without patent pending can still be first pressing but are more common. The sticker whilst dirty is free from tears or lift offs.
The labels (VG) are free from any writing, stickers or markings but does have a tiny 1mm sq tear on one side. Apart from that the spindle marks are very few.
The record (VG+) plays with no jumps, loud background or sticking. There the usual light marks that don't affect play. There are a few light sounds in there but you get them with any record. If you have a metal or diamond needle knocking against plastic grooves there's going to be some noise.
The poster (EX) is fantastic and has no tears in what-so-ever it does have a few creases and has yellowed a little with age. It looks as if it may have been left in the sleeve for the last 20 years. There are no pin holes or blue tac marks and the edges are all solid.
This is without doubt one of the most sought after of The Who's collection if not the whole of the 1960's. Getting harder and harder to find in collectable condition this is a real gem for real collectors.
