Rare Brian Eno album BEFORE AND AFTER SCIENCE. complete with exremly rare Peter Schmidt prints these was issued with the album but only a very few. the prints are in near mint condition, complete with original folder, album and cover are in good condition and show just the wear of a thirty year old album of which this is. there are very few of these around with the original prints. so happy bidding
Peter Schmidt was an artist and teacher in England. He was born May 17, 1931 and died while on holiday in Tenerife, Spain of a heart attack in February 1980, just days before "More Than Nothing", an exhibition of his collaborative work with Brian Eno was to open in Brussels. He was part of a generation of art school teachers in the 1960s and 1970s that had great impact on some students who later went on to work in music. He worked with Hansjörg Mayer, and may have had associations with Mark Boyle and Tom Phillips.
Schmidt was a teacher of Brian Eno at art school in the 1960s and later they found they had both independently arrived at a system of using little quotes and axioms to overcome artistic obstacles. Five of Schmidt's prints from late 1968 are in a UK government art collection that hangs works in various government buildings. See [3]

Not however, in an analytical way though he could be very analytical, it was more to do with looking for the mysterious invisible centre of experience."
