ELECTRONIC MUSIC - Music Educators National Conference 1968
Scarce copy with one unplayed 33 1/3 rpm record insert titled Four Miniatures with Origins by Vladimir Ussachevsky. The compositions by Ussachevsky were created especially for the publication and recorded at the Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Center in New York. Along with this record insert is an article by Ussachevsky titled The Making of Four Miniatures.
The flip side of the Ussachevsky record is a short collection of compositions by Junior and Senior High School Students.
The magazine is illustrated throughout and contains other articles on various aspects of Electronic music; its history, its traditions, an interview with Milton Babbitt, New Sounds in the Classroom, What goes into an Electronic Music Studio, Electronic Music Sound Sheet, Original Student Compositions, The Handwritten Soundtrack, etc.
This book might appeal to collectors of vintage electronic music, vinyl inserts and/or music education and composition.
Condition: Cover of book exhibits some light scuffs, minor rubbing, back cover is creased. Interior is very good plus, clean throughout, with no marked or damaged pages, the record insert has not been removed and has never been played (see pics)

Shipping: Packages are mailed after receiving notice of cleared payment. Parcels are mailed Canada Post - USPS. Calculated shipping fee is based upon the size, weight, and destination of package. Shipping price includes insurance against loss.
Typical delivery time within continental USA is about 5-10 business days, within Canada is 2-7 days business days.
Overseas is usually 6-10 business days by Air. Parcels are sent Airmail unless otherwise arranged. Please contact me by email if you would like to have your overseas parcel sent Surface mail. Surface mail is economical but slow and will be about half the cost of Airmail, but be forewarned, expect 4-12 weeks for delivery.

Packaging: Books are carefully packed - protected in bubble wrap and/or cardboard and sent in either a cushioned protective mailer or clean corrugated box; flat items (ie. photos, magazines) are placed in a cardboard backed plastic sleeve to prevent bending and damage.
