Rare BORIS KARLOFF & JERRY LESTER COLLECTIBLE from the early 1960s! A PROMO (for RADIO/TV USE ONLY) 12-INCH VINYL LP release entitled ONE LINERS featuring BERNIE BEST, JERRY LESTER & BORIS KARLOFF (Stars International/The Big Sound OL-7-R). Side 2 features 10 brief humorous vocal cues from comedian/early TV host JERRY LESTER (1910-1995; Broadway Open House), plus 10 humorous vocal cues from the legendary BORIS KARLOFF (1887-1969). BORIS KARLOFF'S CUES: "Do you have a pencil with an eraser?" "I think you're batting on a sticky wicket, old boy!" "Hahahaha...No, I don't think so." "I hope you've checked on my plane reservation? I always leave town right after the show." "Thank you very much...hahaha. Cheers me up!" "My word, are we on the air? "Do we have much time?" "Steady, boy, steady!" "That was a THRILLER!" (Sorry, I can't make out one of Karloff's cues.) JERRY LESTERS CUES: "You're my kind of an announcer...CHEAP!" "Boy you play the greatest music in the world. Gee, if you only knew music." Boy would a lotta people love to see you in New York! Especially the people in this town!" "You got a nice voice kid...Don't have the laryngitis cleared up." "Now, if you had to do it all over again...now the truth. Would you get a regular job or would you do this again?" "Are, are you sure this keeps you off the streets?" "Hey kid, you're really great! Can you help it if other people hate you?" Now listen kid...if you're ever in the dumps, pick up a tire for me." "Well I'll say one thing for you. You're not a good looking kid, but you do have a bad voice!" "Hahahaha...kid, you're pitiful!" Side One contains 21 brief vocal cues from BERNIE BEST (I have no idea who/what this is). Original script not included. Original Big Sound sleeve is included (see pic #3). Cover and Vinyl in beautiful VG+ condition. Not available on CD.

(SS) STILL SEALED. Original factory seal.
(M) MINT: Perfect, flawless, new
(NM) NEAR MINT: Almost perfect, possibly no more than a few MINOR scuffs, wrinkles or wear.
(VG++) Very Good++. Less quality than Near Mint, but still in beautiful condition.
(VG+) Very Good+. Some scratches or scuffs, some surface markings, some wear, etc. Nice overall.
(VG) Very Good. Too many scratches, scuffs, or wear for VG+, but still in okay condition.
(VG-) Very Good-. Lots of wear (scratches, etc.). Starter copy.
(G) Good. Wrecked. Excessive wear.
(P) Poor. Just what it says.
