This LP is just a killer. First of all, only 2000 were pressed and it is a PROMO-ONLY release. It is still in the original shrink wrap. It is in EX / EX shape. The tracks are from the three-album publically available set “The Last Waltz” soundtrack LP, but this promo copy is rare. THE THING IS, if you collect any of these key artists, this LP is an excellent addition tothose collections and it is a MUST for completests, plus I didn’t jack the price up to something ridiculous.
Artists include: The Band, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Emmylou Harris, Neil Diamond, Ronnie Hawkins, Dr. John The Nightripper, Ron Wood (Rolling Stones / The Faces), Muddy Waters, The Staples Singers, Paul Butterfield and Bobby Charles (R&B star who originally penned and sang the huge hits “See You Later Alligator” and “Walkin’ To New Orleans”).
This concert is known as one of finest shows ever assembled and one of the greatest R&R soundtracks ever released. Produced by Robbie Robertson. Also, amongst the stars of that era, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton and Ringo Starr (Beatles) were some of the most popular and famous.
Stored vertically in a smoke-free environment for 39 years.
