REEVERS – Changes (1976) Polaris Records – Strong VG+/VG+ (cover/vinyl)

Really rare private jazz album on the tiny Polaris label. It was recorded in Ontario and there is scant info I can find on this other than that the last copy came up on ebay almost two years ago and went for more than $100.

This is nice copy but it does have a few defects – nothing terrible, but please read this. The cover is in great condition with almost no wear other than a 4-inch seam split at the top seam from the jacket opening in. The vinyl is clean and glossy but it does have very minor heat damage to the first track on both sides. It is not horrible and doesn’t affect the play significantly, but I want to be up front about that so if you bid and receive it and take it out of the cover it doesn’t come as a surprise. This still plays great with only minor surface noise in those two tracks. It would otherwise grade EX. To be on the safe side I grade this conservatively Strong VG+/VG+ (cover/record).
