Reel Condition: I have 100 percent play tested (not spot tested) this tape. There are no splices, dropouts or noisy spots. The reel is fantastically clean as is the reel label. See the scan of reel label side.
Box Condition: Box outside is quite nice, one broken corner that I have glued. The upper left corner of the box has been squished (see scan). The hinge is in tact. The front artwork is a 9 with only minor wear along the top edge. The rear artwork is a 9 with top edge and 1 scuff about 1 inch long. The spine is yellowed, has spotting, and shows the crushed area on the "4". All spine text is 100% legible. The inside of the box is yellowed. The thumb opening cutout is torn (1/4 inch) but I have reinforced and repaired it. See scans.
Leader: Leader tape (3M timing) and reversing foil have been added for machines with reversing sensors.
Packaging: The leader end is secured in the reel with soft foam to keep the tape from unwinding during storage and shipment. Foam inserts are placed around the reel in the reel box to prevent the reel from rattling around during shipment. The tape will be inside of a new plastic bag and the box will be also. The entire reel and box will be shipped in another box, not a bag to virtually ensure the tape gets to you undamaged from shipping.
