BEATLES "YESTERDAY AND TODAY" 2nd STATE BUTCHER COVER - 1966
I originally listed this LP as having a VG++ grade.  I decided to revise that downward due to feedback from some interested parties, and due to the subjectivity of the grading system I don't want to oversell it.  Please contact me with any questions or concerns and I will try my best to address them.

Ringo's turtleneck's "V" shape is clearly visible under the trunk cover.  
The front cover is clean and retains most of it's original luster and gloss.  The back has some ring wear but is otherwise in great condition.  There are no seam-splits, writing, marks or other problems. The spine is clean with minor foxing.  It does look like someone pealed back about a 1" X 3" section of the top left corner (most likely to see if the butcher cover was underneath) and about 1-1/2" X 1" section on the lower right corner.  They must have done the pealing carefully as the paper is all there, is still attached and the tears are not readily noticeable.  (See Pix)  Overall, the cover is in remarkably good shape for a 55 year old album.                           The vinyl is shiny and shows only slight signs of wear.  Side 1's label is clean and immaculate; side 2 has what looks like a spindle mark on it's label.  The record plays through without pops or clicks.  Original inner sleeve is flawless.  
There are the telltale signs that this particular album was a first-pressing manufactured at the Capitol Records Pressing Plant in Los Angeles.  The * stamp in the runouts is an indicator as well as the black labels with rainbow color-band and "MFD. BY CAPITOL RECORDS, INC." without subsidiary note in rimtext.    Side 1's runout reads T-1-2553-F-23 *.    Side 2's reads T-2-2553-G-20 *.  On the lower right side of the back cover is a RIAA logo with the number 6 just to the left.  This also indicates that this mono album was pressed at the L.A. plant.
