The Beatles - Yesterday and Today 3rd State Butcher Cover *STEREO* LA (5) Pressing with original inner sleeve & bonus repro items including posters and the Capitol withdrawal letter.
A very rare listing of a STEREO 3rd Butcher Cover. The mono version was pressed with a 10:1 ratio so when you consider how rare the mono version is, times that by 10 for the stereo pressing. These very rarely come up for sale and when they do are generally in the £1000’s bracket.

Sleeve: G+ (VG for a 3rd state West Coast Non-Professional peel) A nice copy of a non-professional peeled Yesterday and Today. Some scarring from the peel but the photos are comprehensive. The rear has some age related discolouration but is actually in very good condition. The spine is not split but is scarred and is barely readable. The top and bottom seams are in good condition but there is tape (in good condition) on the bottom at the rear of the sleeve that does not impede on the front and does not spoil the look of the rear. A nice copy of an incredibly rare item.
Media: VG+ (play tested) Lies completely flat and has no warping. Light non-feel able surface marks which cause no jumps or skips but do cause some surface noise in the quieter parts. Clean labels on both sides. Sounds fantastic and is one of the few truly listenable copies of this record. I know the sleeve is the draw but this is a lovely record too.
Inner sleeve: Original yellow adverts Capitol inner that lies flat and although creased in places, is unsplit. The record is housed in a new anti-static sleeve.
Bonus Items: A reproduction of the Capitol withdrawal letter and two reproduction posters.
