  Up for auction here, the first release of "Please Please Me" issued for the German domestic market.
It's the "descandant" of a publication from February 1964, that had been sold exclusively at army stores to American and British soldiers in West-Berlin and Germany's western part.

Due to right issues (Germany initially sold Please Please Me under an own title, "Die Tanzschaffe der weltberuehmten Vier aus Liverpool", February 1964, HoerZu HZE 117 -mono-, SHZE 117 -stereo-), this first domestic release with same title, cover, and track listing as the U.K. original, was published with a double matrix, compiled of the classic HoerZu "initials" (S)HZE as well as an Apple "descriptor". Second one was added in a line below within the dead wax. This applies to the second press only.

This copy comes with a NEAR MINT Viynl Quality. As usual, please check all pictures provided below.

1st Class Packaging

We are Collectors, hence every record is stored (and will be sent) in a sophisticated way. Many experienced collectors were thrilled by our unique, bullet-proof "packing technicque". Original cover, inner sleeve(s), prospective inserts, and/or whatever may come across, are stored separately. The vinyl sits in a neutral antistatic, padded inner sleeve, which is housed in a stable, neutral cardboard cover. Package is protected by one (or more) transparent plastic sleeves. Finally, all items are being wrapped with thick bubble foil and go to a professional record mailer, which is then being properly sealed with water-resistant tape.

For packaging, we use brand-new material & items only. Whatever eBay MIGHT display: INSURED, SIGNED-IN, TRACKED SHIPPING IS FREE. ANY DESTINATION ON THIS PLANET.

Audible checks are performed with a Pro-Ject Audio system connected to a DENON PMA 520-AE amplifier, with a Sennheiser 350 headset.     Remarks   As for the Cover and related issues, please refer to pictures provided right after.
Laminated front is completely glossy. There's mark of water on lower left of cover's reverse side. Scuffed edges. No other wear, splits, or cuts.
Both lables are in a superb condition. Bright colors. No writings, stains, or tears. Spindle hole loks great on both sides.
Vinyl is shiny, simply looking stunning. It appears to be that this record has been played very few times only.

Record has not been audio-graded. We grade most but not all of our records audible.
