Here's another one I hate to part with - an original issue Beatles Let It Be LP Box Set released in the UK in 1970!
In addition to the standard releases worldwide in 1970, the Let It Be album was issued in a deluxe box set package in at least a dozen different countries. In some countries it came out initially only in the box set, and then the LP was later issued by itself in the standard jacket. Designed in the U.K., the limited edition set included a 160-page deluxe Get Back book with lots of text and hundreds of color photos printed on high quality glossy paper. The book was placed in a custom die-cut and recessed cardboard holder which held the LP on top, all of which was encased in an outer slipsleeve.
The copy here up for bid is the one that was printed and distributed in the UK, Package #PCS-1 and LP #PCS-7096. This copy has the outer slip cover, the LET IT BE LP and the 160 page book. The Book is intact and in very good condition. The inner slip cover is missing the tray to the book, and the outer case has some wear. The LP cover is in very good condition, as is the LP itself.
