About This Record.  This is an original rare STEREO copy of Muddy Water's LP entitled Folk Singer on Chess Records LP -1483.  PLEASE see all my additional photos and details regarding condition of the cover and vinyl below.  The photos list the songs and any possible details about the labels.  See my other RARE 1950s compilations LPs I am selling with NO Reserve!

Cover Condition:  STRONG VG+; Strong spine and seams with just light wear, especially on corners.  No tears except near the corners.  Noticeable ring wear on front and back cover, but not so bad.  Small writing in top right corner; small sticker remocal mark at 11 o'clock near top left corner of front cover.  Original Stereo sticker on cover that has age marks but otherwise has not been tampered with.  See Photos.

Vinyl Condition:  VG.  Many EX-/better moments.  The vinyl looks VG+ or EX- better but plays with some background noise on most but not all tracks.  No skips, jumps, sticks or anything nasty other than background noise.  While the cool stereo mix can still be enjoyed, there is some noise and in places it disturbs the listening experience.

Inserts: Comes with plain paper innersleeve in nice condition but cleaned on my VPI in a new innersleeve.

Labels:  Near Mint/VG+ (price sticker removal mark on one side of the labels).  See Photos please.

Packaging.  I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I. Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original.  I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection.  I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least one insert stiffener, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and “Fragile” to help facilitate a safe passage.

About Me.  I have been a Record Collector for Decades.  I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept it well-preserved in plastic sleeves and vinyl separated outside the cover.
