This record is RARE. The actual number was 300 pressed. It was a private press of which only a few hundred were ever printed, and some were allegedly not even sold. It features the amazing talent of a 14 year old Alison Krauss. It's not on an actual label, but was a homade LP by musicians featuring themselves and others. Of the original pressing, there are only a little less than 40 accounted for (various auction results). This is arguably the best one that's been found, with all the things you want in a collectible, mostly, that it's nearly flawless and has the autograph of from a 14 year old Alison Krauss. This record tops out at $600, but could increase in value, since they are showing up less and less as the years go by. I will entertain any reasonable offers, and don't be surprised if this sells in only a few hours, as most of my auctions so far have not gone the full distance without a good offer. Good luck and don't be shy about making an offer... the worst that could happen is I may accept it! LOL!
Probably the cleanest version of the signed original copies of this private press from a local bluegrass band that has gone on to much greater things! The first outing for the 14 year old Alison Krause, and features her signature from a regional performance. She played in the band with her brother on Bass. The cleanest copies of these have gone for around $600. This is cleaner than any I've seen, with the original shrink still on and complete crispness of the cover and inner and the mint disc. Only the area around the signature has the shrink removed carefully. This I believe was the attention of previous owner who was very meticulous. Positively the cleanest of this sought after LP and don't surprised if this only lasts a few hours on Ebay. Thanks for your appreciation of rare vinyl and the things I've posted lately.
